Ryan Ramirez
Director of Operations

Marucci Elite CTX is excited to announce Ryan Ramirez will be joining the Marucci family as a Director of Operations, as well as, a youth and high school level coach. Ryan Ramirez has been a head coach at the high school level for the past 4 years. In his current tenure at Bracken Christian, Ramirez has led the Warriors to 3 Bi-District Championships, 3 Area Championships, 2 Regional Championships, and 2 State Tournament appearances. After their state run in 2021, he was named to the San Antonio Baseball Coaches Association All Star Game Coaching Staff, which honors the top players and coaches from that season. Along with coaching high school, he has been a head coach in the TSC Collegiate Summer League, where he coached multiple D1, D2 & Junior college athletes. He is also well known in the select baseball world. He has been coaching and directing, as well as, leading camps and giving lessons in the area for the past 4 years. Ryan is a proud member of the American Baseball Coaches Association, Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association, and the San Antonio Baseball Coaches Association. Ramirez played at Murray State where he was a catcher and corner infielder. His playing career was cut short by a shoulder injury, but his passion for guiding kids to the next level and making a positive impact in players lives is why he loves to coach. Ryan will be a great asset to Marucci and we look forward to the value he will bring at the director and coaching level.

Ronnie Thames
Director of Player Development, College Placement Coordinator, 16U Coach & 17U Coach

Ronnie graduated from Humble High School and then went on to play 2 years at San Jacinto College. He then played football and baseball at Sam Houston State University where he was 1st team all conference both years and named to the Southland Conference all decade team in baseball. He coached with Tim Tadlock (head coach for Texas Tech University) for 2 years at Grayson County College and won back to back D1 junior college national championships. Ronnie then became the Director of Baseball Operations and College Placement for the Columbia Angels in Houston. Over the last 5 years, he has been the Marucci Elite Texas High School Director and 17u coach. We are so blessed Ronnie has joined our program to help develop elite players as our Director of High School Baseball Operations & College Placement and be the head of player development for all of our age groups.

Ronnie Thames

Dusten Knight

Dusten is our youth and high school Pitching Coordinator as well as youth Fall/Spring and a 2025 high school summer coach. Knight was drafted in 2013 by the San Francisco Giants. Knight made his major league debut in 2021 with the Baltimore Orioles. In 2022, he signed with the Tampa Bay Rays with 6 outings facing some of the biggest big leaguers in the game. Most notably striking out Aaron Judge and Joey Gallo. Upon a recent hip injury, Knight has made his move back to Central TX to continue his baseball dream and give back to the game and our youth.

Jacob Coats
Pitching Coach & Off Season Development Coach

Jacob graduated from Clemons High School in 2006 on went in to play at Paris Junior College. He then transferred to Houston Baptist University where he set the NCAA D1 strikeout record in a single game. Jacob now plays professionally with the Astros Organization and pitches for the Asheville Tourists. Jacob is a developmental coach for our High School program working with our pitchers and runs our off season throwing program Nov-Feb.

Jacob Coats
Pitching Coach & Off Season Development Coach

Dontae Woodard
9U Coach & Elite Pitching Coach

Dontae played for Elgin HS where he received First Team All District as a pitcher, All District Academic Honors, and recorded 75 strikeouts his senior year. He went on to play baseball and pitch D1 for TX State University. Dontae has several years of coaching experience, and we are very blessed to have him within the organization.

Keaton Milford
11U Coach & 15U Coach

Keaton played for Canyon High School before going on to play for McLennan. He transferred to St. Mary’s University where he played as a first baseman & logged 177 put outs & 5 assists. He accumulated 29 runs, 51 RBI’s, and 4 home runs during his junior & senior year at St. Mary’s. We feel blessed to have Keaton, and he has made a tremendous impact on our players.

Keaton Milford
11U Coach & 15U Coach

Keaton played for Canyon High School before going on to play for McLennan. He transferred to St. Mary’s University where he played as a first baseman & logged 177 put outs & 5 assists. He accumulated 29 runs, 51 RBI’s, and 4 home runs during his junior & senior year at St. Mary’s. We feel blessed to have Keaton, and he has made a tremendous impact on our players.

Colton Parrish
17U Coach & 13U Red Coach

Colton is the current Assistant Coach and Head Recruiting Coordinator for Texas Lutheran University. Colton graduated from La Vernia high school in 2015 where he earned all district all 4 years and All State honors. Colton went on to play baseball for Blinn College where he played 2 seasons before becoming a catcher at Texas Christian University. He finished his career as a catcher for St. Mary’s University. Colton has been trained, coached by and worked with some of the best in Texas and we are excited to have Colton’s catching and batting expertise in our program.

Kai Mayne
12U Red Coach 

Kai has coached youth baseball since 2016. He is a former utility player and pitcher for Westwood High School under the instruction of coach Bart Bratcher and later as a pitcher for Southwest Texas State under Howard Bushong. Unfortunately, his college playing career was cut short by arm injuries but he went on to play 4 years in semi pro leagues in Austin and San Antonio with former college and pro players. He has a true love of the game and is always seeking more knowledge and strategies to help individual players and any team he coaches. Coach Kai says, “I consider myself to still be a student of the game. 12U Red Coach

Jacob Finke

Jacob graduated from Pearland High School and went on to play for Angelina College where he set the homerun record during his time there, earned All Conference Outfielder, and Defensive Player of the Year awards. He then went on to play for Sam Houston University then finished his playing career at Angelo State University where he earned All Conference Outfielder once. again. Jacob brings tremendous value and knowledge to our program and players.

Eric Rabinowitz
13U Red Coach 

Eric graduated from Samuel Clemens High School with a successful baseball career that helped him to obtain the starting shortstop position at Texas Lutheran University where he played until he completed his degree. He has coached 14u baseball for 4 years, as well as, running and assisting in many trainings and clinics among all ages in the area. His knowledge and expertise are invaluable assets to our organization.

Eric Rabinowitz
13U Red Coach 

Eric graduated from Samuel Clemens High School with a successful baseball career that helped him to obtain the starting shortstop position at Texas Lutheran University where he played until he completed his degree. He has coached 14u baseball for 4 years, as well as, running and assisting in many trainings and clinics among all ages in the area. His knowledge and expertise are invaluable assets to our organization.

Manny Solomon

Coach Manny attended Farmingdale State College for business and sports management while playing division 1 baseball. He then went on to play for the Arizona Diamondbacks organization at the single A level and in the competitive Dominican summer league from 2001-2006. He has been coaching baseball since 2007 and is a gifted instructor who can coach both youth and experienced ballplayers.

Frank Bludau III

Frank Bludau III graduated from Hallettsville High School where he played both football and baseball and helped the Brahmas win their 1st 3A state championship in baseball. Following graduation, Frank was drafted by the Houston Astros in 1995. He played one year at Wharton County Junior College then played at Oklahoma State University from 1996-2000, where he went to the College World Series in 1999. Following college graduation, he later signed with the Cincinnati Reds Organization in 2000 and finished his career in 2003 in 2A with the Chattanooga Lookouts. Frank brings his pitching expertise and well-rounded knowledge of the game to our youth and is dedicated to developing players to compete at the highest level.

Frank Bludau III

Denson Hull

Denson Hull, a LHP pitcher from Churchill HS in San Antonio received 1st team All District 6A honors as a pitcher and graduated in 2015. He went on to play for the University of the Incarnate Word and Temple College before transferring to Creighton University in 2018. Hull was drafted in 2019 by the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Easton Parrish
15U High School Coach

Parrish graduated from La Vernia High School where he played both football and baseball. He played summer ball for Marucci Elite TX and received an offer to play for Panola College out of high school. Easton transfered to St. Mary’s University where he starts as a utility player playing 1st base, 3rd, and catcher. He was named to the Lonestar commissioners honor roll in 2022 and Lone Star All Academic in 2023. Easton has been coaching and running clinics and camps for Marucci Elite for 2 years and is a valuable asset to our program and players.

Doug Beck

Please welcome Coach Doug Beck to our Marucci Elite CTX coaching staff. Beck graduated high school in 2000 from Littleton, CO where he then went on to play collegiate baseball as the starting shortstop for Lamar Junior College. He then went on to play for TX Tech University having started all 55 games in the 2003 season. While finishing his career in 2005 at the Univ of Utah, he received an NCAA award for his hitting performance. In 2006 he was contracted to play professionally in Germany before residing in New Braunfels, TX with his wife and 2 kids. Coach Beck brings great knowledge and experience to our organization, and we are blessed to have him.

David Williams

Coach Williams is the Canyon High School Assistant Pitching Coach. He was the head coach at Pflugerville Connally High School the past 4 years where he was named the 2022 18 5A Coach of the year. Prior to that he spent 4 years at Austin Lanier, now Juan Navarro High School as an assistant coach. Coach Williams played collegiate baseball at Blinn College and Texas Southern University. As an educator and a coach, he feels extremely passionate about helping the youth of Central TX reach their baseball dreams and goals.

David Williams

Coach Williams is the Canyon High School Assistant Pitching Coach. He was the head coach at Pflugerville Connally High School the past 4 years where he was named the 2022 18 5A Coach of the year. Prior to that he spent 4 years at Austin Lanier, now Juan Navarro High School as an assistant coach. Coach Williams played collegiate baseball at Blinn College and Texas Southern University. As an educator and a coach, he feels extremely passionate about helping the youth of Central TX reach their baseball dreams and goals.

Daniel McCutchen

Coach McCutchen played at the D1 level for the University of Oklahoma out of high school. His senior season, he was second in the nation in innings pitched and strikeouts. Drafted 4 times before signing in 2006 with the New York Yankees, McCutchen was traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2008 and made his Major League debut in 2009. Spent 5 seasons in the Major Leagues with Pittsburgh and the Texas Rangers. Played 11 seasons for 6 different organizations before retiring in 2016. McCutchen is married with 4 kids and the owner of Big League Car Wash in New Braunfels, TX. We are excited to bring his baseball knowledge and coaching expertise to the Marucci Elite Central Texas program.

Reagan Moczygemba

Marucci Elite CTX would like to welcome Coach Reagan Moczygemba to our coaching staff. He has coached baseball for 15 years. 11 years at the high school level and 4 years of select ball. Coach Mooch was a 2 sport athlete at SV High school where he played football and baseball. He was a two time all state baseball player as well as playing in the 2005 UIL State tournament . After graduating he moved on to Navarro junior college for one year before heading to St. Mary’s university where he would be become the all time hits leader and receive several All conference awards.

Reagan Moczygemba

Marucci Elite CTX would like to welcome Coach Reagan Moczygemba to our coaching staff. He has coached baseball for 15 years. 11 years at the high school level and 4 years of select ball. Jeremy Almaguer
11U and 14U Coach 

Jeremy Almaguer was a 3 year starter player at East Central High School. After East Central he attended Division 1 Junior College, Central Alabama for two years. At Central Alabama he was a 2 year starter playing SS and batting leadoff. After his 2 years he played at Division 1 school Grambling State University, he was an every day starter for 2 years. He played his final year at Texas Southern University (D1) earning all conference for 3rd base. He’s coming off his first professional season where he played with the Salem-Keizer Volcanos in Oregon.

Weston Heiligman

Marucci Elite CTX would like to welcome Coach Weston Heiligman to our coaching staff. He has been coaching high school baseball for the last 10 years and has spent the last 5 as the head baseball coach at O’Connor High School. At O’Connor he has lead the Panthers to back to back regional quarterfinals, and in 2023 coached the Panthers to their first district title since 2017. Previously Coach Heiligman coached at Alamo Heights High School and Medina Valley High School as an assistant. In 2016 he helped guide Alamo Heights to their first State Championship appearance in program history. As a player Coach Heiligman was a 4 year varsity baseball letterman at Medina Valley High School. Coach Heiligman then went on to play college baseball at St. Mary’s University and was a part of the 2011 and 2012 conference championship teams, and the 2012 team that played in the Division II College World Series.

Coach Heiligman currently resides in Helotes, TX and is married to his wife Hannah. They have a daughter Holland who was born in July of 2023.

Weston Heiligman

Marucci Elite CTX would like to welcome Coach Weston Heiligman to our coaching staff. Adam Cherry

Marucci Elite TX would like to welcome Adam Cherry to our Central TX coaching staff. Cherry played D1 baseball for La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA and had a successful collegiate career which included records for ERA, saves, and appearances. While in Maryland, he coached FTB Mid Atlantic which produced over 10 D1 athletes in the 2020 class. While in Baltimore, he coached numerous D1 athletes including 2023 Big East player of the year Dom Freeberger. Cherry is passionate about giving back to the community and helped grow and fund the non-profit BUBA baseball that provides baseball and softball opportunities and created experiences for players by partnering with multiple Universities including UMBC, Towson, John Hopkins, Coppin State as well as MLB partnerships with the Cincinnati Reds and Minnesota Twins. We look forward to the coaching expertise and leadership he will bring to the Marucci Elite program. Welcome to Texas! @adamcherry15

Garrett Egli

We would like to welcome Garrett Egli to our Marucci Elite coaching staff! Egli attended Smithson Valley High School. During his senior year, he helped lead his high school team to a 6A district championship, while being selected as a 1st team all-district pitcher. Garrett began his college baseball career at Midland College where he was a two-year starter. He helped lead Midland to a conference championship his sophomore year. Garrett then transferred to play Division 1 baseball at Sam Houston State University. Upon graduating at Sam Houston State, Garrett decided to graduate transfer to Abilene Christian University where he would finish his college baseball career. Garrett helped ACU post its first ever win over a power five top 25 ranked team, with a strong 4 inning start against #12 TCU. During his time at the Division 1 level, Garrett pitched against notable teams such at Texas Tech, TCU, A&M, Texas, Rice, Baylor, and Louisiana Tech. While Garrett has decided to retire from playing, that has not stopped his desire to help the game grow. His life’s passion is to develop the next generation of athletes, by creating discipline around proper warm up, strength, agility, pitching mechanics, recovery, and mental toughness.
